THE WINE: Aged in very old French and American oak barrels for 10 years, the result is a rich, full flavoured and lusciously complex fortified wine with hints of citrus peel, crushed walnuts and toasty vanilla bean. Beautifully balanced with fruit characters and oak tannin, and warm lingering finish.
FOOD MATCHES: Pair with a beautiful cheese platter or for the sweet tooth salted caramel ice cream, apple strudel, or indulge in a classic Affogato.
