Introducing Victorian Alps Wine Co.'s Limited Release range of wines, crafted from carefully selected small parcels of fruit sourced from premium Victorian vineyards. The first release is a luscious 2022 Heathcote Sangiovese.
This wine displays the depth, poise and balance for which this region and variety is building a strong reputation. It has an intense bouquet of wild black cherry and mulberries, with anise spice which leads onto a palate that has blood plum, sour cherry and bitter chocolate at its core. The palate flows seamlessly from the core of fruit and continues to drive along the palate with excellent length, ably supported by fine dusty and savoury tannins.
