THE WINE: This wine displays dark crimson with purple hues. The nose shows rich blackberry, blackcurrant and violet aromas. These aromas lead to a palate of wonderful balance, brimming with rich bursts of fruit, fine silky tannins and a smooth finish. This wine will benefit from medium term ageing.
FOOD MATCHES: Excellent with slow cooked lamb and roast vegetables, rich vegetarian ragout or fillet mignon.
