Italian white varietal lovers, this one is for you. Introducing our new vintage 2023 Limited Release Fiano. Our winemakers split this wine into two fermentation parcels, one undergoing cool fermentation on lees to keep freshness and pure varietal expression, the other on solids old French hogsheads to build layers of subtle new oak characters. A single new Hungarian tight grain hogshead provided subtle new oak characters while championing the fruit flavours and providing an extra dimension on the palate. The wine has enticing aromas of paw paw, starfruit, tarragon, fresh almond and vanilla bean. The palate is weighty, full and textured with flavours of dragon fruit, honeydew, fresh tarragon, blanched almonds and buttered toast.
